Privacy policy
Effective October 15, 2026
We collect only what you give us to set up your Game Plan and, if you become a client, to do the work. We do not sell or share your personal information. You can ask to see it or delete it at any time.
What we collect
- Your email, if you type it into the Game Plan box on this site.
- Your booking details when you pick a time through Calendly: your name, your business name if you give it, email, phone number and the time you picked.
- Your answers to the three questions after you book: what kind of business you own and who pays you, a rough revenue range, where you are with your current accountant, what is frustrating you right now, and what made you book, if you choose to type it.
- Basic technical data every website receives, like your IP address, browser, device type and the page that sent you here.
The site also keeps a few small notes in your own browser, like which kind of business you picked, so the page remembers it. Those stay on your device.
Why we collect it
- To reach you about your Game Plan and to get ready for the call.
- If you become a client, to provide the services in your engagement letter.
- To keep the site working and to keep spam out.
Who else sees it
Only the services that help us run the site and the booking: Calendly for scheduling, our website host, Cloudflare for the service that receives your answers, HubSpot, where we keep track of who we're talking to (your name, email, phone, type of business and revenue range, never your financial details), Dialpad, our phone and text service, Google Fonts, which serves the fonts and sees your IP address, and our email provider. The map on our contact page loads from Google Maps only when you tap it; until then no request goes to Google. They handle it only to provide their service to us. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for ads on other sites. We disclose it only if the law requires it.
Text messages
If you call or text Pacific Standard Advisory, we may text you back about that conversation. If you agree to get texts from us, we use your mobile number only to text you about your Game Plan call and, if you become a client, about your account. We never sell or share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with anyone else for their marketing. How often we text depends on what's going on, usually a few messages around your call. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop at any time, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of booking or of becoming a client.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, like which pages they view and which buttons they click. It uses cookies and collects device and usage information. We have turned off Google's advertising features and hide visitor IP addresses. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
How long we keep it
If you do not become a client, we delete your Game Plan details within 24 months of our last contact, or sooner if you ask. If you become a client, we keep your records as long as tax and business record rules require.
Client financial information
If you become a client, your financial records and tax information are handled under our written information security program and your engagement letter.
Seeing, fixing or deleting your information
Email info@pacificstandardadvisory.com or call (310) 981-3250 and tell us what you want to see, fix or delete. We confirm it is you, then answer within 45 days. You can also ask us to stop emailing you at any time.
Do Not Track
This site does not track you across other websites and runs no ad tracking. Because there is no cross site tracking to turn off, nothing changes when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
Children
This site is for business owners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
When this policy changes, we post the new version on this page and update the effective line at the top. If a change matters to clients, we tell them by email.
